New management board member: Thomas Winkler
New management board member appointed

At today's meeting of the supervisory board of Lenzing AG Thomas G. Winkler was appointed to the management board for a period of three years starting from 1 April 2010. He will be responsible for finance (CFO). Thomas G. Winkler is a financial expert with 12 years of international experience, in particular six years as chief financial officer of T-Mobile's global operations.
As of 1 April 2010 the management board will therefore consist of Peter Untersperger (chairman), Friedrich Weninger (member) and Thomas G. Winkler (member).

Lenzing partnership with Humana People to People – a development project powered by textiles
As of the beginning of 2010, Lenzing AG has supported an aid project in South Africa – the partner is the Association for Development Co-operation HUMANA People to People Austria.
HUMANA finances itself solely by the sale of second-hand clothes. At the same time jobs are created and great development projects are financed. As a result of this sustained way of working, the association is an ideal partner for Lenzing AG.

A+A - Düsseldorf
At A+A in Düsseldorf Lenzing presented its range of fibres made from renewable wood raw material for corporate and protective clothing. The company reports that its Lenzing FR® and TENCEL® fibres have been very successful this year and are being used to an increasing extent in textiles for corporate clothing.
